Windsurfing: Felixstowe dip Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: 8-10kts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: warm Weather: good Max Speed: no gps Distance Covered: 1 hour (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)
Wind was light 8-10 offshore and looked bad after rigging with Steve and
Pete, 2 phantoms with 9.5 tushys and Steve Equipe 2 / 8.5 Ezzy
For steve on his newly acquired Euipe 2, it was Baptism of fire in the
gusty conditions, so unhooking sharpish was top choice. Steve choose sheet
in and drink the north sea method, hmmm!
head up to the docks and it was howling out of the river, so the manor end
would have been great, as I could beat to the pier. Had to flatten the 9.4,
and it was a fast run back. lost sight of steve and pete turned back as he
was overpowered. didn't bother to put gps on, should have done! nice sail.
The phantom / 9.5 tushy is a great beating machine, railing very easily,
now need to sus broad reach stance for top speed..
